Mother and son from Cape Cod won Massachusetts State Lottery three times using the same numbers.
According to reports, they won a total of $300,000.
WBZ-TV reports that Tricia Johnson, 59, a waitress at a Falmouth sports bar, won first on March 22 by playing Keno. “I thought someone was messing with me,” she told CBS Boston.
Later that month, Johnson, who also drives a school bus, played again and won the same prize.
“It’s like lightning struck twice,” she said. “I woke my husband up and made him confirm that I was really looking at what I was looking at,” she told WBZ-TV.
The same day, her son John wanted to get in on the action. Sure enough, he won $100,000.
